Nuclear Medicine Ward at Nemazee Teaching Hospital in Shiraz Is Equiped with state-of-the-art Spect-CT Machine

The Director of Hospital Affairs and Health Care Enhancement at Shiraz University of Medical Science (SUMS) declared the installation of one of the most high-tech Spect-CT in the nuclear medicine ward at Nemazee Hospital. According to Web-Da news site at SUMS' public relations, Dr Seyed Abolfazl Hashemi said,"Another Spect-CT has been purchased and run at NemazeeTeaching Hospital in an attempt to reduce service waiting time and enhancement of medical care in terms of quantity and quality.
He recognized the machine as one of the most high-tech Spect-CTs and added that this device is used for cardiac scanning and due to its high sensitivity and speed of scan; it is capable of imaging in the lowest possible time which leads to the cut-down on the long and tedious patient lines.
Dr Hashemi also stated that by having two machines in this ward at the present time sharing the load of patients, the efficiency of devices will improve.
The Director of Hospital Affairs and Health Care Enhancement at Shiraz University of Medical Science also reminded that the Nuclear Medicine Ward at Nemazee Hospital is currently the most powerfull medical nuclear center in southern Iran, having the state-of-the-art technology and the most knowlegable and experienced proffessors and staff.
